“ The Gaylord Palms is a hotel I've always wanted to stay in just because it appeared to be so beautiful from the outside. It certainly is a beautiful hotel! Not only were the staff was friendly and helpful (except for the girl manning the guard gate at the self-parking lot - she was not in the least customer service oriented!), but we were upgraded to a large, double-balcony, room by the agent at the front desk. We left our balcony doors open and fell asleep listening to the sounds of the waterfalls in the Atrium. The hotel is huge yet it has many cozy areas where you can sit and sip coffee, and just enjoy the ambiance. Very lovely hotel and I would definitely recommend it to everyone! ”

“Gaylord Palms in Orlando is a beautiful hotel with courteous staff. Room did not have a microwave, but did have a small fridge. I had issues with housekeeping because all they did was make the beds and put clean towels in the room. I stopped asking for the shampoo/conditioner/body lotion and shopped at WalMart for my supplies because the housekeeping would not give any unless requested. Room was not vacuumed unless I requested it either. The Housekeeping manager apologized but after spending 5 nights there, I would recommend this hotel if housekeeping did a better job.”

“ Overall it was a great place to stay. I will go there again. However, there were a lot of kids sports teams there that weekend and it was very loud. Kids were running up and down the halls most of the night. It didn't stop us from enjoying the facility though. ”

“Elevators and parking were not convenient. Had to pay a $15 mandatory resort fee and $12 a night for parking. This made our hotel expensive and we would not go back to this hotel.”

“ I have stayed here before and was very much looking forward to going again. We were there for a couples weekend getaway. We were placed in a very small room right next to the presidential suite. When we requested a move, we were reluctantly moved to another room that was not clean with a balcony facing a wall. ”

“Awesome and beautiful hotel. Atriums with wildlife and plants and flowers were a complete joy. Pool area was also very nice although crowded. Rooms were nice and clean.”

“ We were charged an additional 45.00 for a one night stay. Which included a $30.00 for parking ($15.00 each day) and a $15.00 resort fee. We stayed one night and went to Disney the two days so we never touched the resort. We were not happy. ”

“You will truly enjoy this hotel and grounds as long as you understand that everything is extra. Parking, resort fees, $40 upgrade to not look at the parking lot and taxes on all of it. We did not dine there due to the menu costs.”

“ The hotel atrium was impressive. The rooms were adequate but nowhere to place suitcase other than bed. Choice of dining not family friendly, too high priced. Went 6 miles for food. All fees should be included. Purchased for family traveling for funeral and the fees would should have been an option to add on. ”

“Loved this resort. The pool was really nice although it was outdoors and it was too cold outside to use. The atrium was huge and was a great place for us to explore. We had a balcony overlooking the Gator Pond.”

“This is a fantastic hotel. Clean, comfortable. It features in room computers that you can surf the web on (included in your resort fee). I appreciated the two bottles of water to take into the parks.”
