• It was connected to a mall.
• It was old.

“ The only thing I liked about the hotel was that it was connected to Lennox Mall. Other than that the hotel is old fashion with old decor. Even the rooms have an old/musty smell to them. There are no accommodations in the hotel for an everyday person. They charge over $3 for a candy bar, and $5 for a bottle of water.
”

“The staff was very pleasant and the facilities nice. I thought the hotel fit my needs as a business traveler. It was quiet and well-maintained. The fitness facilities were functional and accessible. Overall, my stay at the hotel was very nice.”

• Nice room.
• No WIFI & the water in shower cold.

“The hotel was nice, biggest complaint is they need to update the hotel with WIFI. Hotel charges for the internet. Also the shower water stayed cold never got hot, I love my baths and showers so this was a bummer.”

• Beds were comfortable and very clean.
  
• Do not get a connecting room unless you want to have conversations with the people next door.

“ Hotel is beautiful. The staff (especially the valet) is very nice. I was put off by the fact that we checked in early and they had no king beds available. I live 18 miles from the hotel. We wanted a bigger bed, a quiet night away from the kids- and a little privacy. We got 2 dbl beds a connecting room with a frat party next door and felt like we were on stage. ”

• Cookie Cutter-no coffee pot, slow internet

“You know you're in a Marriott--not enough distinction to pay the premiums over the lesser priced members of the chain--you're paying for the 5 people greeting you in the lobby. Best reason to stay--good beds, and that's the number one travelers consideration. Convenient location. Better than average food in their morning buffet. Definitely a business traveler place”

• Great location very close to Lenox Mall.
• Parking was $20-$30 a night.

“Excellent hotel. Clean. Nice rooms and friendly staff. Parking was pricey, but overall a great experience. The hotel connects with Lenox Mall and that's a huge plus!”

• Location is great; staff is very professional and friendly.
• The hostess at breakfast had a very bad attitude; expensive to use wireless internet.

• client to restaurants, nice amenities, pleasant staff.
• Only negative $28/day for parking, ridiculously high.

“The hotel is nice. Each staff member we can in contact with was very pleasant. We used room service three times and were always pleased. Our only complaint is that parking was $28/day. I expected it to be high, but not that high. The hotel attaches to Lenox Mall, making dining and shopping ultra-convenient. We also walked to other shopping and dining in the area even though we had a car.”

• Expensive parking, super expensive food and drinks in hotel.

“Hotel and staff were great. Parking is ridiculous. I would definitely stay here again, I just wouldn't eat or drink anything at the hotel. Great location, has an entrance directly into the Lennox Mall.”

• The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
• Snack/canteen like shop was too expensive. Water cost $6.50.

“Excellent hotel for the business traveler working in the buckhead area. Fairly easy to get to the major highways to downtown. Very accessible to shopping and great dining options.”

• The bed was great.
• Did not have hot water, the front desk was not very polite?

“The hot water was not working, 3 different engineers came up and supposedly fixed it, it will work at the time and then later, no hot water again. You would have to sit there for almost 20 minutes to get warm water.”

• Separate shower and tub.
• Had to enter via Mall entrance.

“Very friendly staff. Nice room and very clean. The bathroom was all marble and had a separate shower and tub. In addition the shuttle, a Lincoln Navigator, took us to and from our dinner location. Nice touch!”

• The staff was all wonderful and very friendly. Very clean and appears to be recently updated.
• The motor lobby was not right off the street. Once found, it was okay.

“A wonderful hotel that was very comfortable and well appointed with more amenities than we were able to use in our short weekend. It would be nice if the motor lobby were more accessible; however the street level is too high to make this feasible. So you have to watch for signs to get there if you're arriving by car. A big plus is that you can access Lenox Square Mall by foot through a covered walkway from the hotel lobby. Marta has a rail station nearby and bus stops are all over the place if needed. Very good shopping and dining in the area. There are a couple of bargain places but Buckhead is one of the wealthiest areas in Georgia.”
